I have a diploma in Massage Therapy from Trillium College's 2200 hour program, and I'm a yoga instructor and certified Canfit Pro Personal Trainer. Whether you are looking to relax and recover or build and grow, I'm looking forward to helping you in your journey towards better health.
My rates make massage affordable for everyone. Please note that My Local Massage services are not eligible for insurance benefits.

Lymphatic Drainage helps mitigate lymphedema and fluid retention by using gentle, rhythmic techniques to flush excess fluid from areas where it has built up. Particularly effective for blocked sinuses and congestion in the face.

My boutique studio space is outfitted with free weights, dual cable stack, Smith machine, incline bench, yoga mats, and a heated floor.

Following a discussion of your fitness goals and needs, I will build you a custom program that will include strength, cardio, and mobility training, as well as healthy eating guidance.
The Commitment Package provides an intensive framework for you to change your overall health for the better. If you are unable to commit to one hour daily for three months, please choose a different package.
What's Involved:
-3 month commitment to yourself
-3 coached strength training sessions per week (60 minutes per session)
-3 cardio sessions per week (programmed for you and done on your own time)
-mobility/flexibility work (programmed for you and done on your own time)
-daily accountability check ins
What you will need:
-a food tracking app
-a kitchen scale
- a bathroom scale
-$2200 per package
-based on 3 coached sessions per week for 3 months, plus cardio and mobility programming, healthy eating guidance, and daily check-ins
-after 3 months, you may choose to cycle into a Consistent or Consultant package, continue your focused progress with another Commitment, or take your new found skills to a gym environment
The Consistent Package begins with a discussion of your fitness goals and needs. Using that information, I will build you a custom strength training program. You will come in for two personal training sessions per week where you will learn to challenge your muscles, develop your strength, and improve your mind-body connection. Sessions are on-going and will be adapted and re-programmed to suit your needs and progress.
What's Involved:
-initial assessment (approx 30 minutes)
-2 coached strength training sessions per week (60 minutes per session)
-$480 per month
-based on 2 workouts per week/4 weeks per month
-training is on-going
After a discussion of your fitness goals and needs, I will build you a custom 6 week strength training program consisting of 3 different workouts. You will come in for 3 sessions (one per workout) so that I can teach you your exercises, coach your form, and explain your workout parameters. For the next 6 weeks, you will follow your set workouts (on your own) according to the schedule laid out for you, and then return for another session.
What's Involved:
-initial assessment (approx 30 minutes)
-3 coached strength training sessions to learn your plan (60 minutes per session)
What you will need:
-your own set of dumbbells (5 to 25 pounds)
-or access to a gym
-$200 per package
-each package will be programmed to challenge you for 6 weeks

Increase your strength and range of motion while decreasing pain and discomfort. Sessions can be more intensive or relaxing, based on how you feel. Choose how frequently you would like to attend, and build a schedule that suits your life. See descriptions below for the type of class that suits you best.

Choose yoga to learn to comfortably achieve stretches, poses, and flow sequences to feel strong, empowered, and at ease in your body and mind. Learn to move, breathe, and relax. Mindfulness will be built into every session.

Choose Stretch & Strength to build muscle through isometric and isotonic bodyweight exercises, and to use static and dynamic stretching and nerve glides to increase comfort across all the joints of the body.

Choose Mobility & Functional Movement to focus on increasing your range of motion, and bringing ease and longevity to the movements that matter most- those that are part of your activities of daily life.

Yes! I use an innovative technique called EMB therapy. EMB stands for energy/muscle/bone, the three targets of my work. I co-developed EMB from a deep knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the human body, and years of hands-on experience in Swedish Massage and Shiatsu Therapy, with influences as broad-ranging as yoga, martial arts, and qi gong. Come try EMB therapy for yourself to feel the difference!
No. As a holistic practitioner, my services are not eligible for benefits through most private insurance plans. Some plans may have flex accounts that will cover my work; please inquire with your plan if you think this may apply to you.
For massage, payment is due following your treatment. For personal training and fitness, payment is due after the initial consultation and before training begins. For the Commitment Package, payments may be broken into monthly instalments. You can pay by cash, card (debit/credit) or etransfer.
I understand that life and emergencies happen and do not charge for missed massage appointments. I appreciate as much notice as possible when you can't be here. For personal training, consistency is key. If you are on the Consistent or Commitment package and need to miss a session, we will work together to figure out the best way to make it up.
Of course! I will build a custom program that meets you where you are and gets you to where you want to be. Lifting weights is how you will become stronger, both in your body and your mind!
Of course! Practicing yoga is how you will become more flexible, both in your body and your mind!
Yes. However, to combat fraud, gift certificates must be purchased in person. My Local Massage gift certificates do not expire.
